When children demonstrate difficulty in their ability to manage their emotions and self-regulation, it can lead to an imbalance in their systems often expressed as behavioral outbursts, inattention, or difficulty in social situations. I believe children do well when they can; and when they are equipped with the appropriate skills to be successful. With my experience in child development, coupled with a deep understanding of brain development, I have a passion for educating and supporting children to be the best they can be in every area of their life.

"Children do well if they can, and if they can’t, it is our job to figure out what is getting in their way" - Dr. Ross Greene

As adults, I believe we all possess the ability to demonstrate success in our lives, yet at times we might need support in recognizing and accessing those skills to foster this realization. When we experience overwhelming emotions, or situations causing stress, our biological system reacts which affects our emotional response. By helping you recognize and understand this important physiological dynamic, I am confident I can help foster success in your life, whatever that may be.

"Emotions are much like waves, we can’t stop them from coming, but we can always choose which one to surf" - Anonymous
